Event space

The Weber Shandwick studio was invited to support the launch of Cat’s newest development and learning centre (MDLC) in Málaga. The MDLC is designed to be a hub where operators can strengthen their skills, explore product demonstrations, and connect with peers through networking opportunities.

The brief covered four key areas:

First, we were asked to develop a cohesive visual identity for the physical space. While Cat already had a brand identity in place, adapting it to a built environment required thoughtful interpretation. We created a clear, 16-page design guide for use by interior designers, detailing the use of fonts, colours, graphics, and patterns to ensure visual consistency and best practice throughout the centre.

The second task was to create a large-format illustrated scene of ‘Cat Land’. Designed as an interactive game, the illustration invites visitors to spot specific objects hidden within a lively and detailed landscape - bringing a playful element to the space.

Our third focus was on the digital content displayed across kiosk screens throughout the centre. These screens act as information points, giving visitors insight into Cat’s services and products. We developed 16 unique screens, carefully designed for both clarity and engagement, with a focus on intuitive navigation and user experience.

Finally, we produced an introductory video to welcome guests to the MDLC on its opening day - setting the tone for their visit and introducing the purpose and spirit of
the centre.
