Rebrand concept
The brief
Cepton is silicon valley company specializing in advanced, cost-efficient lidar technology for industries like automotive, smart cities, and industrial applications. Known for its scalable, reliable, and energy-efficient solutions, Cepton aims to enable safer, smarter systems worldwide.
Weber Shandwick Scotland were engaged to showcase a vision for the brands future identity ahead of internal negotiations for a rebrand pending acquisition. The client asked to portray an evolved vision of the brand, using the current brand as building blocks for it’s evolution.
The work
We developed a visual ID illustrating ways the brand could be evolved into a more modern aesthetic. Anchoring the brands core elements such radar embalm for their logo and colour pallets but executing these in more modern and striking aesthetics. Our colours play with in the notion of light, with our green gradients reprenting glowing ‘light casts’ giving us recognisiable brand elements that can be utilised across touchpoints.
